Sunday Funday: The Universal | Sunnyside
Today’s Sunday Funday took us to The Universal in Denver’s Sunnyside neighborhood. Brunch at The Universal is more than a treat…it’s Denver’s Best Diner!
Here’s what we love about The Universal:
It comes across as unassuming, but breakfast is excellent! They have reimagined classics, like cornbread rancheros, as well as the staples you expect, like homemade biscuits/jam. They source from lots of well-known, local and national thoughtful food purveyors like Tender Belly and Anson Mills.
There’s a great patio! Sit outside three seasons while enjoying your food and friends!
Don’t forget about lunch. From burgers to Bahn Mi, they offer the usual but add a few unexpected options are super yummy and very approachable.
