Beer on tap at Zuni Street Brewing Company

Zuni Street Brewing Company

Let’s start off with what everyone’s really here for… the beer!

Zuni Street Brewing Company's owner and brewer, Willy Truettner, knows what’s up with German and American-style beers. And not in a, “I’ve played around with it in my basement” way, either. The dude went to school for it.

As part of his training through The Siebel Institute of Technology in Chicago, Truettner spent three months in Munich, Germany studying various brewing styles and traditions. After graduation, he was recruited by Bell’s Brewery in Michigan and then landed a coveted job at New Belgium Brewing.

Since 2017, Truettner’s been putting all that expertise and experience to work for his fellow Coloradans, crafting fresh and unique brews you won’t find anywhere else:

  • Maggie Jane, a Belgian brew with hints of tangerine and pomegranate

  • The strawberry rhubarb Sour Bombadale

  • The Goldberry Ale, an American Wheat brewed with strawberries, raspberries, and chamomile

  • The flagship Zuni Street IPA

  • And at least 12 others!

And get this: Zuni is intentional about brewing their yummy beers in environmentally conscious ways. They’re solar-powered, recycle water, use a green CO2 system, send their spent grain to a bull ranch, and encourage customers to take advantage of reusable growlers to reduce aluminum can waste. Plus, they donate a percentage of their profits to other organizations working to protect our planet.

These people love beer and the environment, and we love them for that! Check out Zuni’s website for an in-depth beer menu, calendar of events, and sweet virtual tour!

Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats

OK, listen up, friends: Nathaniel Rateliff is fantastic, and you absolutely want to get your name in the drawing to win tickets to his Red Rocks show. (You can do that by showing up to our Happy Hour or reading the special instructions down below if you can’t make it!)

With influences including folk, Americana, and vintage R&B, Rateliff pours his heart into candid albums exploring love, loss, and how to live through it all. He describes his music as “a reminder that we all go through hardship, but regardless of the hardship, everything ends up where it’s supposed to.”

Rateliff has an impressive resume of live performances, including features on Saturday Night Live, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Tonight Show, and an NPR Tiny Desk Concert. With over a decade of records under his belt, Nathaniel Rateliff puts on a show you won’t want to miss.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre

We love Red Rocks. Looooooooooove it. If we could get away with living under the benches, we totally would.

We’re guessing you’ve been, but just in case, here’s the dealio. Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a historic outdoor venue and national landmark nestled right into the landscape just ten miles from the heart of Denver. And there’s no other way to say this: The place is take-your-breath-away, drop-dead gorgeous. Experiencing a concert there is unimaginable. Truly.

Pro Red Rocks tip: The venue almost never cancels for rain, so be prepared!

Since it first opened to the public in 1941, Red Rocks has welcomed music icons for concerts and live recordings. You know, “little” bands like The Beatles, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash, The Blues Brothers, The Grateful Dead, Bonnie Raitt, and Earth, Wind, & Fire.

This season’s Red Rocks lineup includes The Barenaked Ladies, Lake Street Dive, Wiz Khalifa, Jimmy Buffet, and countless others. The venue also offers the best drive-in movie experience ever and hosts Yoga on the Rocks every summer weekend.

This place is awesome, right? Honestly, it’s pretty hard to adequately describe the one and only Red Rocks Amphitheater, so make sure to join us for happy hour to win a chance to experience it yourself.
