As a first-time home buyer, the entire process, from start to finish, was quite intimidating and it was hard to know exactly where to start. Well, we started with an email to Heather and the rest is history. Right from the first email and phone conversation, Heather was timely in her communication, clear, and reassuring (she recognized how scary first time home buying can be and was really patient). She helped answer any and all questions we had, which I often felt was a lot, and really helped break the process down for us. She put us in touch with a couple of great lender recommendations and explained why she felt they were so good, which was immensely helpful. Having a lender you trust to have your back and communicate effectively was critical. Our search process didn't last long and with Heather's help found what we were looking for (the one if you will) in the second time out. After that it was offer and closing time. One of the key strengths and amazing qualities I admired about working with Heather is her ability to explain things clearly, particularly in an industry/environment that can be really confusing. Most if not all the documents you read and sign have legal jargon (may require a lawyer) and still there was nothing Heather couldn't explain to us. All in all, we couldn't be more thrilled with the new townhome we purchased and even amongst the chaos of moving, we are enjoying the brightness it's bringing to our lives. - Brent
